Megan McCashland
Board Member & Finance Partner
Megan has built her career in early-stage private equity investing. After starting at the technology focused, seed stage, industry agnostic fund Lvl Up Ventures, she then moved up market to the B2B software growth equity fund Arrowroot Capital. Currently, she is a pre-seed angel investor working at an operator level, specializing in finance and corporate strategy, she serves on the board of multiple companies. Megan received her B.A. in Economics at the University of Notre Dame and a Master in the Science of Finance at the University of Southern California. She is the founding partner of a successful impact investing fund helping companies like AIEquality succeed by financing growth into sustainable business models in the education technology and human capital technology verticals.

Christopher Linden
Board Member & Legal Partner
Christopher Linden is a career attorney primarily advising sponsors and other private fund investors (and their portfolio companies) in corporate finance transactions, including secured debt, asset-backed loans, equipment financings, mezzanine debt and structured equity, buyout financings, unsecured or subordinated debt and convertible debt instruments. He also serves as outside General Counsel to various clients, frequently being called upon to advise on complex employment and other executive compensation matters/issues. Chris began his career in the business, finance and restructuring group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York, and after returning to his California roots, Chris practiced as a leveraged finance attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles. He currently is the founding member of Linden Law, LLC and a co-founding and managing partner of a boutique growth equity investment fund, Sipadan Capital, which is based in New York City.

Dr. Courtney McCashland

Dr. Courtney McCashland is a Board Member and Partner at AIEquality, delivering deep expertise in the application of predictive AI to build a productive, engaged workforce that creates opportunity and leverages the unique talents, expertise, skills and perspective of every employee.
Dr. McCashland has founded seven successful start-up organizations, and has served on the executive team for seven fast-growing companies with a focus on talent research, analytics, and workforce science.
She received her bachelor’s degree in marketing and journalism and a master’s in qualitative and quantitative research from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She then completed her doctoral degree in organizational leadership at the University of Southern California where she graduated summa cum laude.
Background on Dr. McCashland
As a Fortune 500 business leader, Dr. McCashland has led the science and growth strategies of global financial, technical, research, talent assessment, HCM, and strengths development organizations. Through hundreds of performance-based studies, Dr. McCashland’s research has validated predictive assessment analytics that power leading programs around the world, including AuctusIQ, StandOut, The Strengths Engagement Track (SET), The Gallup Q12, Strengths Finder, TalentMine, and the Survivor Profiler.
As Co-founder and Chief Officer of Science and Strategy for AuctusIQ, Dr. McCashland brings academic and applied insight into how the talents, experience, knowledge, and skills of a sales force can be measured to shorten the sales cycle and increase sales production.
Prior to founding AuctusIQ, Dr. McCashland served as President of Global Science and Strategy for IBM Smarter Workforce, where she worked with executive leaders of Fortune 500 companies architecting predictive assessment systems to hire and turn talent into performance. She also served as President of Global Assessment for Kenexa, an HCM company, where she led an expert team of IO Psychologists to integrate talent and skills assessments, situational judgment tests, simulations, and predictive interviews to measure what matters most to performance.

Timothy Hudson
Timothy (Tim) Hudson, a distinguished executive with extensive expertise in leading transformations, driving process efficiencies, and above market growth while leading both businesses and commercial functions. He served as the Chief Commercial Officer at TE Connectivity and has led a global Go-To-Market team responsible for sales, marketing, customer success, channel partners, and field application engineering.
Prior to the Chief Commercial Officer position, Mr. Hudson was the global vice president of commercial excellence at Honeywell corporate, where he implemented strategic initiatives that significantly enhanced the company’s commercial function. Before joining Honeywell, he served as vice president and general manager at Illinois Tool Works (ITW), leading a key division through a transformative period, restructuring leadership, aligning the workforce with a shared vision, and streamlining operations. This resulted in record sales, profit margins and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Background on Timothy Hudson
Previously, Tim held numerous roles at GE Aviation, including general manager of mechanical systems, general manager of industrial products, digital leader of Unison Industries, and global director of commercial operations for the Aviation Systems Business. He began his career with Rockwell Automation where he held increasing responsibilities in operations, sales, and managerial positions.
Mr. Hudson has a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also completed a certificate of Distribution Management from Texas A&M University.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Hudson has been recognized as one of the 2024 most influential corporate executives in corporate America by Savoy Magazine and a top 50 business leader in Greenville, SC in 2019. He has served as a board member of organizations such as The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, United Way, the Greenville Chamber, and the Peace Center.

Lee Stuart
Lee is the Chairman of Nebraska Bank of Commerce and NBC Trust and CEO of NBC Bancshares, LLC. Prior to forming NBC Bancshares, Lee was a co-founder of Nebraska Heavy Industries II (NHI II), a privately held holding company with investments in non-financial operating businesses. Through that involvement, Lee and his partners acquired Bolts & Nuts Corp., a fastener distribution business headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, in 2013, which acquired a number of other “bolt-on” acquisitions and eventually was sold successfully in 2023.
Prior to NHI, Lee worked for his family at the “old” NBC as a senior officer, and he got his start in banking at Commerce Bank in Kansas City.

Besides his professional activities, Lee has been active in community affairs, primarily through his role as President of the Lee & Debbie Stuart Family Foundation, but also as President of the Nebraska Game & Parks Foundation and as a Board member of Northstar Foundation in Omaha.
Lee lives in Lincoln and has been married to his wife Debbie for 30+ years. They have two adult children, Madeline and Ben. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, mountain biking and spending time in the outdoors any way he can.

Ahmed Chennak
Dr. Ahmed Chennak is an applied economist with academic expertise in the area of artificial intelligence, the factors determining its adoption and market acceptance, the benefits and the social and private costs associated with the adoption of artificial intelligence. He also has academic expertise in the industrialization and industrial organization of the agri-food system, organizational theory, and the transition to a more circular economy. His research focuses on the economics of innovation and technology sharing of process (i.e., cost-reducing) and product (i.e., quality-enhancing) innovations. He examines the role of organizational form (i.e., cooperatives vs investor-owned firms (IOF)), technological externalities, and consumer advocacy in the licensing of innovations.
Background on Ahmed Chennak
Additional recent work of his examines the system-wide market and welfare impacts of the transition and incentive structures that can facilitate the adoption of circular methods and processes. His research aims to identify potential market failures and to design policies and strategies that can induce socially desirable market outcomes/levels of circularity.
The exploration of economic strategies and policies emphasizing innovation, productivity, profitability and sustainability is at the center of his research philosophy.

Melissa Grim
Melissa Grim has been a human capital and HR lawyer for almost 20 years, focusing on counseling companies on the design and administration of their benefit and compensation plans and programs and working with companies to develop programs that incentivize employee performance and incorporate best practices, industry trends, changes in the legal landscape, and the company’s strategic initiatives.

She also represents companies through inquiries, audits, investigations and assessments, advisory or other ruling requests, and voluntary compliance correction matters with government agencies, such as the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. A significant amount of her work is in the context of corporate transactions, helping acquisitive companies and private equity funds and their portfolio companies navigate the intricacies of the human capital and people operations aspects of transactions, including developing playbooks to address post-deal transition and integration issues. Melissa is a partner at Benesch, a growth-oriented business law firm, and leads Benesch’s executive compensation and benefits practice group. Prior to Benesch, she spent most of her legal career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where she was both an associate and a partner for many years.
